Commuter buses are used by a few transport organizations to perform long distance transport. AS well private companies use commuter buses to collect and deliver staff from and to their homes. MMT operates commuter buses in the main corridors of the cities and to the outskirts. This is what we call intra-city mass transport. |

Railway transport in Ghana is still in a development stage, the southern sector is the only portion of the country benefiting at the moment. The northern part of the country is soon to be connected with the national rail line after the completion of the tracks connecting the south to the north. |
