Trans4orm is an Associate trainer for the Danish Training Centre for Development Training (TCDC) in Arusha, Tanzania where at least 60 people from Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, South Sudan, Sudan, Senegal have so far been trained in Critical Writing for Change. Through our technical support we aim at bringing effectiveness, accountability and sustainable social change and how to communicate this change to influence others.
Trans4orm has also trained the Media Foundation of West Africa (MFWA) in monitoring and Evaluation and has supported the organisation in developing a monitoring framework for their strategic Plan. Similar support has also been given to another organisation in Ghana, FOSDA and many individuals and community based organisation in Ghana. 2013 will see many more of such technical support for organisations that are making genuine efforts to be more accountable through better Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) programming, planning, monitoring and evaluation processes and also working to better communicate their change work more forcefully to influence policy makers, funding agencies, peer organisation and other people who need to know about their work.
Our technical support thematic area also supports Peace building and conflict prevention, negotiation and mediation training for organisations and individuals in the sector. We also provide legal counseling for abused women and girls and Organisational Development (OD) and team building supports
